It is an open, principles-based system, which means that it is possible for the organisation to apply the principles in the standard to its own context.

ISO 31000 can be used by all organisations, regardless of type, size, activity and location, and the standard is intended for all types of risk and can be used by anyone who handles risk, not just those who are professional players in the risk management field.

Meet the speakers:

Yanesh is a Customer Success Manager, part of F24’s Global Customer Success Team. He has on-boarded many clients in the UK and MEA region. Yanesh works closely with clients in various industries such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Telecoms, Finance, and Aviation to implement and fully utilise our Crisis Management and Emergency Notification solutions.

Jan Terje has been involved in designing solutions for digital crisis management since the late 1990s and has led the implementation of such solutions for a number of both national and international organisations. He has a background from the Norwegian Armed Forces and has many years of experience from the IT industry both as a manager and project manager. Jan Terje also holds a Master’s degree in Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management.
