Executive Board
Dr. Jörg Rahmer
Dr. Jörg Rahmer is as member of the Executive Board at F24 AG responsible for Strategy, Innovation & Product as well as Product-Engineering and -Operations. He also serves as the spokesperson for the Executive Board.
Christian Götz
Christian Götz is founder and member of the Executive Board at F24 AG. He is responsible for the areas of Sales, Marketing & PR, HR and Customer Service.
Supervisory Board
David Gurle (Chairman)
David Gurle is a serial entrepreneur, and well known figure for his work on real time communication and secure messaging technologies. He co-authored several IP communication standards and five reference books on IP communications.
David Gurle founded and ran Perzo in 2014. After selling Perzo, he founded and ran Symphony for seven years before stepping down in the summer of 2021 to focus on his new initiatives Quest and Hive.
Prior to Symphony, David was General Manager and Vice President of Skype for Business, was a senior executive at Thomson Reuters and he founded and ran Microsoft’s Real Time Communications business unit.
Benedikt Joeris (Deputy Chairman)
Benedikt Joeris joined Hg in 2011 and focuses on the software and services space in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He covers the Mercury fund for those regions.
Prior to Hg, Benedikt worked in the Investment Banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he focused on M&A and corporate finance.
Benedikt is from Germany and studied at the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel and the University of Hong Kong.
Nick Jordan
Nick Jordan is a Partner at Hg focused on investments in the tech services sector. He is also a member of the Hg Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Hg in 2015, Nick worked for 12 years at Darwin Private Equity and Permira. He has a BA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
Stefan Schmidtner
Stefan Schmidtner is a member of the Hg Mercury team since 2019 and focuses on the software and services space in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He covers the Mercury fund for those regions.
Prior to Hg, Stefan worked in the Principal Investors & Private Equity practice of the Boston Consulting Group. Stefan started his career in commercial banking.
Stefan Schmidtner is from Germany and has a M.Sc. from the University of Mannheim. Furthermore, he completed all three levels of the CFA exam.
