David Gurle appointed as new Chairman of F24 Supervisory Board
Munich 9. June 2022 – We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Gurle as the new chairman of the Supervisory Board of F24 AG, Europe’s leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for incident and crisis management, alerting and business communication. Together with Benedikt Joeris as Deputy Chairman, Nick Jordan and Andre Hillenbrand from F24’s majority shareholder Hg, he advises and supports the executive board to ensure the companies continued success.
David Gurle is renowned for his work in the field of real-time communication and secure messaging and distributed computing technologies. He is co-author of several IP communication standards and five books on IP communications. “We all know that technology is a real game changer. Today, it is especially crucial for businesses to invest in their resilience and preparedness to ensure that their operations run flawlessly. I am thrilled to take part in F24’s journey and support their growth path.“
David Gurle led the financial services company Symphony for more than seven years before he focused on his new initiatives Quest and Hive. He is a member of the Advisory Board of several IT companies across the world, and also serves as ambassador for France’s France2030 investment program.

Prior to Symphony, David Gurle was General Manager and Vice President of Skype for Business, held senior positions at Thomson Reuters, and founded and led Microsoft’s Real Time Communications business.
David Gurle is a French entrepreneur, who founded and led the company Perzo in 2014. After selling Perzo, a mobile and web messaging platform that encrypted every message end-to-end using a three-layer encryption system, he directed Symphony for seven years before stepping down in 2021 to focus on his new Quest and Hive initiatives.
In 2016, Gurle was ranked #97 on “The New Establishment,” Vanity Fair’s annual ranking of Silicon Valley hotshots, Hollywood moguls, Wall Street titans, and cultural icons.
