Rapid communication with key stakeholders
On Sunday 20th April 2014, a large fire occurred at the Waterport Place Power Station in Gibraltar, which was a result of a generator catching fire and exploding. The impact of the fire interrupted the local telecom providers’ services, resulting in the interruption of online services for most of the UK Gaming Companies that are based in Gibraltar and are led by the UK’s largest bookmaker William Hill PLC.
Following a comprehensive review of the market place, and subsequently piloting a number of short listed software solutions, William Hill opted to utilise the ENS advanced version of FACT24 the web based Crisis Management and Emergency Notification software solution.
