Press Release
F24 invites you to the Experience Season 2021
20th September – 29th October 2021
Munich – 08/09/2021 – F24, Europe’s leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for proactive crisis management and alerting, will launch the F24 Experience Season 2021 on 20 September. As part of this event, interested participants will be able to access a wide variety of exciting content and interactive online formats free of charge until 29 October. Live experiences include discussion rounds, interactive online tests, a podcast and field reports on the topics of alerting, crisis management and business continuity. Together with international experts from companies like Deutsche Telekom, the Helvetia Insurance Group or the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), F24 offers a digital platform where participants can actively share their experiences – and provide plenty of inspiration on how organisations can navigate through emergencies and crises in future even more safely by using the right digital tools, to name but one example.
‘Since 2020, people, businesses and organisations around the world have been in crisis mode almost continuously. However, the everyday challenges of fighting the coronavirus pandemic and other disasters have pushed systematically gathering and processing what we’ve learned over the last year and a half on to the back burner. It’s also clear that crisis situations like cyber attacks or natural disasters will become an even greater focus in the future. We’re delighted that we can provide a stage for this important exchange with our Experience Season. Drawing on their expertise, the various speakers will cover the entire range of relevant topics and provide valuable sources of inspiration, trends and best practices for dealing with all kinds of exceptional situation – worldwide,’ said Benjamin Jansen, Vice-President of Sales for the Emergency Notification Services and Crisis Management division at F24.
Companies worldwide are focusing more on crisis management
The coronavirus crisis and disastrous flooding in parts of Europe in July 2021 are just two very recent examples that truly demonstrate how crucially important working alerting systems, sustainable crisis management and proactive emergency and crisis management really is. They also make it clear just how diverse the risks for companies can be. Companies around the world have recognised this – as confirmed by reviewing the Allianz Risk Barometer 2021 and the latest Emergency Communications Report from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI):
- Last year, business interruptions (41%), cyber incidents (40%) and the outbreak of the pandemic (40%) were the top three most frequently cited risks for businesses globally1
- 62% of respondents around the world said that improving their business continuity management was the most important action that their company could take2
- More than half (52%) of all companies believed contacting their employees during an incident would be their biggest challenge3
This is precisely where F24, the Munich-based SaaS provider, comes in with its FACT24 product, to name but one example, and offers holistic solutions that make crisis management and alerting efficient worldwide, so damage can be avoided wherever possible and costs can be minimised. The company recorded up to 600% growth in the use of FACT24, its all-in-one crisis management and alerting solution, last year in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic alone. In 2020, for example, more than 10,000 people per day in over 100 countries were alerted using FACT24 on average.
