F24’s solutions will be key tools for security and emergency preparedness during the 2025 Ski World Cup

Trondheim, 2nd April 2024: The Ski World Cup 2025 has chosen the emergency management tool CIM and F24’s notification solutions as tools for security and emergency preparedness during the event in February and March next year.

The agreement gives the organiser access to a customised CIM Pro for the execution of the World Ski Championships from 26 February to 9 March 2025. CIM Pro includes tools for planning and conducting ROS analyses, establishing security and contingency plans, notification, communication and incident management.

“A specialised and dedicated tool for crisis management is becoming increasingly important for security and emergency preparedness at major events, such as the World Ski Championships. This is a complex event, and a user-friendly software that ensures good planning, effective notification and good tools for collaboration in the event of an incident is crucial. The F24 solution CIM ensures that the World Cup organiser’s various response teams work with the same updated situation picture,” says Ole-Kristian Fossheim, Vice President Sales & Marketing / Managing Director at F24 Nordics.

The agreement with the World Ski Championships also includes the new collaboration module in CIM, a unique and innovative way of interacting with other organisations, both in the event of unwanted incidents and in day-to-day operations. The collaboration network connects both other CIM users and non-CIM users to work together seamlessly in real time. This means that the staff at Ski World Cup can work effectively with other critical societal actors both on a daily basis and in the event of incidents. In addition, they will utilise the modules for planning, exercises, notification and crisis management, collaboration maps and evaluation.

“F24 Nordics is proud to be chosen as a supplier and to be able to contribute to the community for a unique event in our host city,” says Fossheim.

Internal notification in the organisation will take place with the notification tools TeamAlert and GroupAlert, which are supplied by F24 Nordics’ sister company FramWeb. The Trondheim-based company also supplies the Varsling24 tool, which will be used in communication with neighbours and other affected parties.

“We’re looking forward to the hustle and bustle in Trondheim under safe conditions for the audience, organisers and performers,” says Atle Oliver Johansen, Sales Manager at FramWeb.
